8 Must Have Extensions For The Chrome Browser

It is probably in human nature to look for a little more, to do better. So, why should browsers be left behind, right? To enhance the user interface, we have browser extensions. In an earlier post, we spoke about Firefox Add-ons to view multiple Gmail accounts in the same browser. In today’s article, we look at the must-have extensions for Google’s Chrome Browser.

How do I download Chrome Extensions

You can download Chrome Extensions directly from the Chrome Web Store. To download an extension, you can search for it in the Chrome Web Store. Select the desired extension and simply click on the “Add to Chrome” button

This very useful Chrome Extension, allows you to delete typed URLs, Cache, Cookies, Download and Browsing History, basically, all traces of your online activity. This is however available only on Windows and once installed appears as an icon in the browser toolbar. Right-click on the icon to explore the available options.

Evernote Web

To me, this Chrome Extension is a “Sticky-Note” equivalent, except that it can be accessed from every computer and smartphone that you use. The prerequisite to download this App is that you must be signed into Google Apps. Once you’ve installed the App, you need to create an Evernote account. A little tedious extension, but the rewards are manifold. To delete this App from Chrome, open a new tab and select the Apps section at the bottom of the page. Evernote Chrome Extension
